Kotor by Foot

Duration:1 hour 30 minutes

The UNESCO listed old city of Kotor is located in the deepest corner of Boka Bay and today is one of Montenegro’s main tourist attractions. Although the old town of Kotor dates back to 12th and 14th Century from the nearby finds, we understand that Kotor was inhabited even in the Neolithic times.
Apart from its picturesque narrow streets, little squares and well preserved stone buildings, the Maritime museum of Montenegro and Orthodox church of St. Nicolas are among the places to visit.
St Tryphon’s Cathedral, dating back to 12th Century, is another important monument to visit in Kotor. It was built in an honour of St. Tryphon (Sveti Tripun), the patron and protector of the city.
